From recording and mixing to live sound engineering to working as a publicist for one of Canada's largest heavy metal music distributors, Leigh has worked her way around the music scene and has always been surrounded by musicians and bands. Combining her passions for music and photography, she started shooting live shows for The Nerve Magazine in 2006 with a catalogue including the likes of Emily Haines, Ladytron, The Pointed Sticks, Corey Feldman, Sparklehorse, Clinic, CSS and Shout Out Out Out Out in addition to musician portraits including Vinnie Paul (of Pantera, Damageplan, Hellyeah), Cobweb Society, and Fake Shark-Real Zombie! (on Vinyl Junkie).
She has organized and participated in numerous group art shows and her photos have been published in NME, Mix Magazine, DJ Magazine, London Times, LA Weekly, Playboy, Spin, The Georgia Straight, Dubai 'In Flight' Magazine, Ion Magazine, Infamous, H! Magazine, The Block, Criativa, and Discorder.
